Cookie policy

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones Dentologi uses, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels; we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.
Cookies can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (which remain for a set time). They may be set by us (“first-party”) or by a third party whose service we use (“third-party”).
2. Your choices and our consent banner
When you first visit Dentologi, our cookie consent banner asks you to choose which non-essential cookies you’re happy for us to use. We only set analytics and marketing cookies afteryou accept them — strictly necessary cookies are always on because the site can’t work without them. You can change your mind at any time by selecting the cookie preferences icon at the bottom-left of any page.
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes.

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure service. Non-essential cookies — analytics and marketing — are used only on the basis of your consent, which you give through our consent banner.
4. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies in several ways:
- Our consent banner. Select the cookie preferences icon at the bottom-left of any page to review or change which non-essential cookies you allow, at any time.
- Browser settings.Most browsers let you see what cookies are set, block them, or delete them. You can usually find this under the browser’s privacy or security settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
- Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Device controls. Mobile devices offer settings to limit ad tracking and reset advertising identifiers.

5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by the third-party providers we use, including Google (analytics, and advertising where you accept marketing cookies) and Stripe (payments). These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy and cookie notices, which we encourage you to review. We list the providers we share data with in our Privacy policy.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the cookies we use change. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above.
